Read when you're feeling sad

Hi beautiful! I'm guessing you're here because you've been feeling unmotivated and something has been bothering you. I know that right now it probably seems like it will never end and you can't make yourself to do anything, but always trust the process. When it comes to feeling unmotivated, the thing that helps me the most is writing a small to-do list just to help me get through the bad day. Even small achievements are still achievements so I usually write almost my every day-to-day tasks like making a bed, brushing teeth, drinking lots of water, etc. Try and go out for a walk to breathe some fresh air, go for a run, do anything that will make you feel better and happier. And if it means staying in bed the whole day and watching movies and tv shows that is also perfectly fine. Please don't think that you're wasting time doing normal things because it will make you sadder and the process will be repeating. If you continue to worry about what's upsetting you, you're not going to feel better. Slowly start thinking of things that make you happy and write them down. Listen to songs that make you want to get up and dance, surround yourself with positive people, talk to friends that you laugh with until you start crying. Being sad is perfectly fine and every single one us feels it and experiences it on a different level, but never let that sadness overtake you. You are strong and you will get through this, like all of us do. Just remember that life is really short and don't waste time on it. I want you to know that you are beautiful, strong, intelligent and that you deserve the world. You have so many things yet to achieve and don't forget about it. Stay on the path and follow it. What I do when I am feeling sad is to stay off social media for some time - even if it's a few hours. I recognized that when I'm feeling sad, I spend way too many hours on social media and at the end of the day I feel really bad because I did nothing besides scrolled for 4 or 5 hours straight. That being said, I'd recommend you turn off your phone and stay off social media for some time or until you feel better - it is really easy to get sucked into scrolling through TikTok and Instagram. You are way better than anything that upsets you and you are strong. I am here for you if you need anything. I promise that things will get better really soon.
